Position Summary:

The Data Analyst is a critical thinker who is adept at recording, interpreting, analyzing and communicating data to assist teams and production in prioritizing production and ensuring image delivery. The Data Analyst is experienced with detailed document and report preparation and complex internal and external data analysis responsibilities.

The Data Analyst contributes to the strategic planning of reporting efficiencies, planned production system improvements, optimizing for cost improvements in the Data and Technology area.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Creates reports from production software for internal clients to indicate priority production needs as direction for project managers to schedule. Frequency to be defined by PM need.
  • Ensures images produced are reaching delivery within a reasonable turn time based on date data analysis or file locations.
  • Execute manual data uploads into production systems as defined. Examples may include: Puma B2C daily matrix, seasonal sample matrix.
  • Create resource plans by external client for production by month and season for studio manager.
  • Create seasonal forecast estimates for external client budget/purchase order planning.
  • Interprets data, analyzes and synthesizes results using data collection methods.
  • Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that help capture and condense optimal data quality. This could include validating daily production target achievement and planning pricing.
  • Acquires data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems.
  • Filters and scrubs data to locate existing or potential problems.
  • Works closely with management to understand key applications of data.
  • Identifies weaknesses in processes and procedures and recommends solutions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Advanced knowledge of Excel. Intermediate to advanced skill in other Microsoft Office software programs.
  • Data cleansing and preparation
  • Position requires handling multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring seamless execution through stellar organizational and time management skills.
  • Candidate should demonstrate planning skills and the ability to prioritize using information around due dates, clients, internal resource skill sets and when to escalate for assistance and awareness.
  • Data Analyst must be available and accessible to internal team.
  • Understands project workflow and ability to plan and execute both long term and short term goals.
  • Position requires a person with strong attention to details with exceptional problem solving skills.
  • Dedicated to ensuring processes meet their requirements and provide adjustments when necessary.
  • Experience in utilizing web based database management tools.
  • Knowledge of and utilization of automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
  • Ability to work both independently and within a dynamic team structure.
  • Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedules.
  • Being respectful and courteous when interacting with others. A calm and collaborative demeanor is expected when working through conflict.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience using MAC operating systems is desired.
  • Experience using digital communication tools such as Webex or Skype chat tools is desired.
  • Creation of departmental, functional/technical documentation and training materials
  • Execution of Training as needed for TPS systems
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive use of hands and fingers (i.e. keyboarding, data entry).
  • Must be able to see and hear in order to gather and input information; respond to face-to-face and telephone inquiries.
  • Must be able to drive and have a valid driver's license.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift, push, pull, and carry materials weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
  • Able to work in low light conditions, with desk lamps versus overhead lighting.
  • Ability to walk throughout a warehouse floor following our internal safety guidelines.
  • Travel requirements may be up to 10% of time. A valid passport with the ability to travel outside of your country of residence is necessary.

Qualifications:

Candidates will have a four-year college degree or equivalent.

A minimum of 2 years as a data analyst or experience working with data.

Creative agency experience or content production experience is desired.

Knowledge of photography and merchandising is desired.

Benefits:

The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000-$80,000, commensurate with experience and skills.
