Glassnote Candle Bar provides customers with a one of a kind candle-making experience within the ambiance of a speak-easy style cocktail bar, located in the heart of Walker's Point. Guests are able to socialize, drink, and create their own custom scented candles. Connection and Creation is the driving force behind Glassnote Candle Bar.

Position Overview:
Our team of knowledgeable candle making guides/ bartenders are all called Chandlers- a term used in the middle ages for Candle Makers. Our Chandlers are responsible for creating an intimate and memorable experience for each guest that we welcome into our space. Chandlers are highly skilled and act as tour guides, servers, and bartenders to deliver outstanding service and ensuring that every guest leaves with more than just the perfect custom candle. Chandlers guide our guests through an intimate custom candle making experience while crafting signature cocktails and providing excellent customer service. Chandler's are paid an hourly rate plus tips and we offer a guaranteed minimum catch wage of $20 per hour.

Job Responsibilities:
-As a Candle Making Guide/Bartender you will take accurate orders and provide the highest levels of friendly and attentive service that build the guest’s intent to return while ensuring the Cocktail and Candle Bar is stocked and cleaned: bar dishes and tools, candle supplies.
-Follow all steps of service to company standards to provide memorable guest experiences
-Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, maintaining positive guest relations at all times
-Resolve guest complaints, ensuring guest satisfaction in each interaction
-Maintain a positive attitude and work environment for guests and staff members
-Provide Exceptional Customer Service and Genuine Hospitality
-General Cleaning and Upkeep of the space per company standards throughout the entire shift: cleaning bathroom, dish area, staff kitchen, guest area, and bar area.
-Completes opening and closing duties and checklists every shift
-Strict adherence to policies, procedures, and operations with multiple staff trainings throughout the year

Qualifications:
-Must be at least 18 years of age upon hire
-Must be able to work at least Two Shifts per Week (shift schedule below)
-Must have a reliable method of transportation
-Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs
-Must be able to stand and move around for up to 11 hours
-Must be able to ascend and descend stairs unassisted on a daily basis

Shift Schedule:
-Tuesday to Friday: 4pm - 11pm
-Saturday: 1st Shift 11am - 6:30pm ; 2nd Shift 3:30pm-11pm
-Sunday: 1 Shift 10am- 4:30pm ; 2nd Shift 1:30pm - 7pm
