PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Manufacturing client in Beaverton who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for a Machinist career who are ready to start immediately. The ideal candidate will have Machinist experience.

Machinist Responsibilities:

To be considered for the Machinist position, applicants should:

• Significant collaboration and communication skills related to continuous improvement and customer satisfaction
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 1 Machinist experience required
• 1 year blueprint reading experience required
• Program and/or operate machine at proper speeds and feeds for material being machined
• Ability to use common measuring equipment including micrometers, calipers, gauges (pin, thread, indicator, height).
• Ability to work with minimum tolerances of 0.005”.
• Must have a creative mind to overcome unique obstacles found in a heavy-duty manufacturing facility. Be able to work directly with managers to solve problems and come up with robust solutions to roadblocks.
• Basic toll requirement (tape measure, assortment of wrenches, socket set, Allen wrenches, rubber mallet or dead blow hammer, zip tie cutters, hammer).
• Willingness to perform tasks not related to Machining
