Summary

The MIL Corporation seeks a Financial Analysis, Analyst to support a Federal government client at our Charleston, SC location.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial analyses utilizing a variety of analytic tools including MS Office products

• Support financial troubleshooting functions

• Review and analyze internal control review and audit results to advise client on finding resolution and process improvements

• Assist with preparation and/or review of internal and external financial audits

• Create and maintain quality work instructions

• Assist with corrective actions, process improvements, fraud indicators, risk management, and implementation of proper controls

• Focus on continuous process improvement

Required Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience

• Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task

• Ability to be flexible in a demanding work environment

• Ability to work independently and as a team member

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent customer service skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Federal budgetary principles, concepts, regulations, practices and procedures

• Federal financial management experience

• Federal accounting knowledge

• Experience with ISSO 9001

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
