We are seeking an Mainframe Security Operations Engineer to join Zions Bancorporation. The Mainframe Security Operations Engineer plays a key role in our infrastructure technology team. As a cybersecurity expert, we'll look to you for administering the tools of the position, managing procedures, crafting training programs, organizing backlogs and work queues, driving initiatives, and using progress reports and presentations to keep your stakeholders and internal customers informed and engaged. You will have a direct impact on improvements within the Technology Reliability Engineering and Operations (TREO) group.

Responsibilities:
Assist team m embers throughout the org with access provisioning tasks and design.
Ensure the company remains aligned to industry cybersecurity trends
Work with cross-functional teams throughout the enterprise to drive initiatives and support improvement efforts.
Administering several mainframe security tools and products
Maintaining documentation, reporting, and dashboards
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Bachelors in Computer Science, Information Security, Data Science or related field and 2+ experience in infrastructure, system administration, project management, multiple technologies, frameworks, systems or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
Excellent written and verbal communication; must be able to communicate across business line and skill levels
Thorough comfort and understanding of Mainframe Operating Systems, their structure, and security principles
Managing certificate creation, rotation, and expiration for the mainframe
Producing, publishing, and distributing operational reports pertaining to the status of products and processes
Problem-solving
Organizing team artifacts, projects, and work queues
Project management
Acting as a liaison with various vendors, departments, management, and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures
Ability to review, analyze, and evaluate technical processes and procedures

Location:
This position has a hybrid work from home schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the office at the Zions Technology Center in Midvale, UT.
