Goodhue Boat Company is expanding by leaps and bounds, and we are looking for smart, motivated, and dedicated people to join the team! Our Meredith, NH location has an opening for a full-time Asst. Rental & Dock Supervisor. We are looking for someone who would like to grow with our family-oriented company and step into a higher position in the future. This position will focus on providing an award-winning customer service experience at our marina and assisting our Rental & Dock Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

· Schedule dockhands and leads to cover customer business.

· Make sure staff are fully trained and prepared to perform their jobs.

· Train lead dockhands on company expectations and responsibilities.

· Train dockhands on proper rental procedures.

· Ensure that all youth labor laws are followed.

· Train and perform superior customer service.

· Handle customer concerns.

· Manage employees of a wide variety of ages, including high school and college students.

· Ensure confidentiality of customer information.

· Accountable for retail transactions and cash drawers.

· Inventory rental boat accessories to make sure we have plenty of water skis, tubes, tow ropes, etc. and verify they are not damaged and in good working order.

· Manage communications for rental boats with other departments, rental leads and dockhands.

· Manage employee concerns, staffing and job assignments.

· Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:

· 1 or more years successfully managing high school and college students, a must.

· 2 or more years as an assistant customer service manager, preferred.

· 3 or more years of marine rental and dockhand experience, preferred.

· Strong customer service skills,

· Superior understanding of scheduling multiple shifts and people for a busy environment.

· Complete understanding of Federal and State labor laws.

· Poses a high degree of organizational skills.

· Ability to create and execute a plan and to react effectively to unexpected situations.

· Strong belief in training employees well.

· Ability to communicate well.

· Loves to work in a team environment.

· Strong computer skills.

· Experience with SPEEDYDOCK, a plus.

Education:

· Associates degree in business or 2 years of customer service management experience.

· Valid Driver’s License required.

· Boater’s license, preferred.

Salary:

· $19/hour or more based upon experience.

Schedule:

· Full-Time, year-round position.

· Flexible schedule.

· Off Peak Season: Monday-Friday.

· Peak Season: Monday-Friday, weekends. (5 days per week)

Pay: From $19.00 per hour
