As part of Wealth Management (WM) Investment Solutions, the Solutions Product Development group works in conjunction with numerous wealth management investment solutions teams to develop and deliver investment products for use in the Private Bank (PB), JPMorgan Advisors (JPMA) and Chase Wealth Management (CWM) lines of business.

The US Discretionary and Advisory investment product development lead (Managing Director) is responsible for leading the team that develops and launches discretionary and non-discretionary advisory solutions/SMAs for distribution to all JPMC private wealth and Wealth Management lines of business. This role requires significant engagement and partnership with the investment due diligence teams, portfolio managers, advisors and supporting areas of the organization. This role will also interact regularly with senior internal stakeholders.
Candidates must have a track record of excelling in complex, cross-functional investment product development and have a demonstrated track record of effectively communicating and influencing people, progress, and outcomes across various distribution channels.

Job Responsibilities
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance the investment product offering for our US distribution channels across US Wealth Management and the US Private Bank
  • Lead new product launches working with senior stakeholders across the organization
  • Define and design the build-out of new strategic investment capabilities in the discretionary and non-discretionary space
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for the discretionary and non-discretionary investment offerings in the US
  • Partner with product development teams in the International Private Bank to create a consistent product palette where possible
  • Lead product simplification initiatives focused on the harmonizing and simplifying the product offering
  • Influence, partner and collaborate with internal stakeholders including legal, compliance, technology and operations to successfully deliver new investment products
  • Influence decision-making across Investment Solutions, Private Bank and Wealth Management leadership regarding prioritization of product development and associated budget
  • Create an open, transparent environment where team members are empowered to make decisions and respectfully challenge ideas

Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities
Relevant experience: 12 to 15 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably in wealth management and managed accounts and programs, across the brokerage, discretionary and advisory space. Strong strategic thinking and critical thinking with a track record of structuring and solving complex problems and leading strategic or transformational product initiatives.
  • Executive communication skills: Ability to crisply articulate complex concepts in a digestible manor to senior audiences with poise and confidence.
  • Product development and management: Extensive experience in managing complex, multiyear product launches/initiatives across multiple work streams with varying timelines, priorities, and complexities, ultimately launching new / enhanced product to market. This includes the ability to prioritize and handle multiple job-related duties including day to day tasks in a deadline oriented environment
  • Thought leadership: Experience in providing competitor insights to generate innovative and market-leading solutions. Intellectually curious with a desire to identify and implement innovation
  • Results oriented: Has a proven track record in innovation, driving and executing successfully including effectively influencing senior business leaders. Willing to challenge what has been the norm and implement in a fast-paced changing environment. High attention to detail, strong organizational skills and exemplary analytical skills
  • Excellent leadership skills of product, programs, projects, teams and employees - with ability to coach and develop junior members of the team.
  • Great Attitude: High energy, optimistic, structured thinker with a \"can do\" and hands on approach. Highly self-motivated and ability to remain calm under intense pressure.
