At this time, Nobles is expanding our team and seeking high quality, dedicated individuals willing to be cross-trained in our clean and climate controlled facility.

Nobles Worldwide, Inc., a Ducommun Company, is seeking a Welder II to operate welding equipment to meet companystandards for quality and quantity by performing the following duties:

  • Set up and operate welding equipment (Spot, TIG,MIG, and Solder) to produce parts which meet established standards for qualityand quantity.
  • Participate in planning for new fixtures andjigs.
  • Welds metal parts together using both gaswelding or brazing and any combination of arc welding processes.
  • Keep records of time, job, part operation forproduction reporting.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Grind and clean parts as necessary.
  • Identify problems and initiate corrective actionto minimize scrap and downtime.
  • Keep department work areas clean and orderly forefficiency and safety in accordance with 5S
  • Verifies conformance of finished work piece tospecifications
  • May be assigned painting projects as needed.
  • Verifies dimensions and alignment of assembly
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.

    Education and/or Experience:

    Welding Certificate from college or technical school; or twoto four years related experience and/or training combined with successfulcompletion of certified test welds.

  • Depending on the candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, they will be hired into an entry (I) level, intermediate (II) level or expert (III) level job and pay scale.
