As an engineer, you understand the power behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to modeling foreign threat radars, antennas, and communication systems. We’re looking for a problem solver who can use their skills to help perform detailed analyses, including the evaluation of the detectability of airborne systems and survivability analyses of weapon systems and platforms to be deployed in future combat scenarios. Our modeling and simulation team performs a variety of classified analyses of future weapon and platform concepts for DoD clients. We develop the detailed models and simulations as required by those analyses. That’s why we need you, an engineer, physicist, or mathematician with an interest in technical support for our team working on RF systems, radar signal processing, antenna modeling, and operational approach assessments. While working with a diverse experienced team, you’ll perform model evaluation and execution, data transfers, technical and editorial documentation review, classification marking review, modeling and simulation data handling, configuration management, requirements definition, tracking and traceability, distribution of deliverables, and action item tracking. You’ll apply basic knowledge of Fortran, C++, MATLAB, and Simulink to assist you in these duties. You’ll directly impact the DoD’s mission by helping determine what tactics, techniques, and procedures improve survivability and decrease vulnerability against foreign threat systems as well as helping make an informed decision for the acquisition of future systems.

You Have:

• Experience with coding in MATLAB, C, C++, FORTRAN, or Python
• Experience with Threat Modeling and Analysis Program (TMAP) radar modeling or an Integrated Threat Analysis and Simulation Environment (ITASE)
• Knowledge of radar principles for antenna, signal processing, and track filters
• Secret clearance
• HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with engineering and mathematics
• Experience with modeling and simulation
• Experience with Linux
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
