The Role

Manage the ongoing strategies, tactics, and application of NTRP (National Tennis Rating Program) and assist with the transition of team products to new platforms.

  • Manage day to day operations of NTRP (including processing DQs, start rates, etc.)
  • Monitor the accuracy of ratings including updates to the NTRP Methodology, guidelines, calculations, grievances, appeals and self-rate process
  • Manage relationship and training between section/district staff regarding NTRP
  • Contribute to the NTRP Operations Team
  • Manage year end NTRP rating run and publish process and all related activity
  • Manage consumer facing content and consumer communication plan for NTRP
  • Act as digital business owner for TennisLink enhancements for USTA League & Junior Team Tennis
  • Contribute to USTA’s digital strategy for team tennis based on market and other research findings and analysis to increase consumer engagement and play
  • Support migration of USTA Junior Team Tennis and USTA League to a new digital platform

Who You Are

  • Previous experience with NTRP
  • Identifiable tennis background
  • High-level computer systems knowledge including development standards and processes, with specific experience with testing and QA desired
  • Proficiency in advanced mathematics
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Detail oriented

The expected range for the base salary for this position is $56,000 to $68,000. This range does not include any additional pay or benefits for which a person may qualify. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
