The Senate Committee on Veterans’ Affairs Republican staff is seeking a staff assistant to manage public-facing front office operations and support committee meetings, hearings, and markups. Applicants must be highly organized and self-motivating, with superior customer service skills and a drive to serve the public good. Responsibilities include taking calls, managing mail, greeting visitors, filing and distributing reports, maintaining databases, and providing administrative and research support to legislative staff. Kansas ties and military connections are a plus. This position is full-time and physically located in the Washington, DC office.
