The Boeing Test & Evaluation (BT&E) team is seeking a Supply Chain Management Analyst (Associate or Mid-Level) to join our Materials Management and Warehousing organization. This position is located in Edwards Air Force Base, California.

In this role, you will be tracking and ordering tools, managing hazmat activity on-site, participating in government property audits, and overseeing mortality of parts. You will have the opportunity to support multiple Boeing programs to include C-17, KC-46, B-1, B-52, T-7, and F-22.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Incorporates change and planning decisions to arrive at optimal solutions

  • Applies Supply Chain Management (SCM) methodologies to ensure coordination in the global supply chain

  • Analyzes material requirements

  • Verifies and incorporates Bills of Material/schedules into a production plan

  • Determines part number attributes. Initiates, coordinates and authorizes release of orders by evaluating system requirements and resource availability

  • Ensures on-time delivery

  • Documents and resolves order delinquencies

  • Reports schedule adherence issues

  • Applies solutions and controls inventory plans

  • Optimizes inventory levels

  • Analyzes and dispositions excess inventories

  • Initiates audits

  • Develops and creates schedules for products and services

  • Assists in developing estimates and schedules for new business proposals

  • Supports process improvements by analyzing and establishing best practices for materials management to improve SCM performance

  • Works under general direction

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain management

  • 3+ years of experience with the following MS Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

  • Experience in inventory management

  • Excellent Verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience and demonstrable analytical and problem solving skills

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 3+ years of experience with materials management and inventory in relation to government and capital property

  • Understanding of SOX requirements

  • Experience interfacing with multiple stakeholders across the USAF, C-17 Engineering, supply chain, and supplier management

  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 years' related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Summary pay range for Associate: $66,300 - $89,700

Summary pay range for Mid-Level: $81,600 - $110,400
