Job title: Store Associate

Location: Tank Depot - 31800 Ranch Rd 12 North, Dripping Springs, TX 78620

Job Description

We are seeking a Store Associate to become an integral part of our team! You will be responsible for selling merchandise and performing shipping services in a retail setting to drive company revenue.

Responsibilities:

· Welcome and identify customer needs

· Explain products and services to customers

· Monitor inventory to ensure product is in stock

· Enter and process customer orders

· Investigate and resolve customer complaints. Escalate issues as needed to store manager for resolution

· Perform shipping and receiving duties, including use of forklift to load and unload merchandise

· Organize stock/showroom

· Ensure all teams/emails/phone communication are answered in a timely manner

· Process shipments from the store including freight calculation,

· Perform a daily walk through of facility -check bathroom for cleanliness, trash, and supplies. Inform manager of any issues or need for supplies

· Organization and cleanliness/maintenance of the yard (Includes picking up trash in yard and landscape duties, ex removing overgrown weeds, etc.)

· Lift up to 50 lbs.

· Perform light janitorial functions such as sweeping, mopping, emptying trash containers, cleaning counters, windows, and any other cleaning duties as assigned

· Inspect and washing all mechanical equipment

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· High School diploma or equivalent required

· 1-3 years of retail experience

· 2-3 years shipping/receiving experience preferred

· Fork-lift certificate highly preferred but not requiered

· Effective communication and customer service skills

· Readily adjusts schedule, tasks, and priorities when necessary to meet business needs

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

· Ability to build rapport with customers

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Proficient in MS Office applications

· Must have computer skills

· Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening/ drug test

· Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.

· Ability to work outdoors (heat/cold) in a non climate controlled environment

Hours: 8am -5pm Monday to Friday

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
