Summary The Service Advisor will be, a customer centric focused individual that is readily available to address any customer need pertaining to the service to their vehicle. Will Report directly to the Service Manager.

Essential Duties

· Meet Percent to sales goal as set by management

· Address all customer needs in relation to vehicle service

· Listen and respond to, customer's description of vehicle symptoms, and provide recommendations including but not limited to the following: clarifying the description of problems; conducting inspections; checking vehicle to verify warranty and service contract coverage by examining records and papers; explain provisions and exclusions.

· Prepare accurate estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's invoice, including deductibles.

· Review all Multipoint inspections with customers in detail

· Prepare repair orders (RO) by listening to the customer's concerns and all causes discovered, as well as repairs and services required; obtain approval signatures; enter the repair order (RO) into the company’s service database system.

· Maintain excellent customer rapport by explaining estimates in a professional & customer oriented manner including: the expected time to return the customers vehicle; obtaining customer's approval of expected estimates; obtaining and providing the customer with, contact information, answering any questions and/or concerns; arranging for towing and temporary transportation.

· Responsible to keep the customers informed of the status of the vehicle throughout the service process.

· Will perform other duties assigned by management

Computer Skills

· Ability to use Microsoft, Outlook, Word, & Excel

Qualifications

· Education and/or Experience:
Maintain Green CSI monthly by factory standards.

· Complete and maintain all Factory training for Certification.

· 1 to 2 years of experience as a service advisor preferred

· 1 to 2 years of customer service/ sales experience preferred

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, to calculate repair orders, & invoices, to provide accurate accounting information to customers and supervisors.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Valid Driver's License
