The Senior Structural Engineer will lead the engineering and design team with a focus on large, complex structures spanning multiple stories.
Responsibilities:
- Layout projects using schematic or conceptual layouts.
- Create and develop new structural designs that meet or exceed customer and regulatory requirements.
- Perform structural design and analysis calculations using relevant codes and standards.
- Provide onsite or field support to customers and the sales team.
- Support and participate in product training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in structural steel design, preferably in agricultural or industrial projects.
- PE certification is required.
- Understanding of structural analysis and structural steel design, including AISC 360, AISC 341; knowledge of codes such as the International Building code, ASCE7, and OSHA 12910.
- Knowledge or training in 3D structural analysis software, preferably RISA.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
