Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A - Full Time (Remote)

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for assisting in preparation, coordination and documentation of financial analysis projects, including but not limited to budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and strategic planning. Analyst will support data-driven decision making for forward-looking financial and business-related projects. Successful candidates will be self-motivated, inquisitive and detail-oriented with strong communication and project management skills. Contributions to process improvements and advancing analytics are highly valued.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Budget, Forecast and Variance Analysis.
  • Contributes to the development of the annual budget, monthly forecasts and periodic multi-year projections.
  • Maintain and advance monthly reports, models and presentations to track and communicate financial performance of various business segments.
  • Works with multi-disciplinary business segment leads to analyze and forecast financial performance; identify opportunities; and communicate findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ad Hoc Analyses.
  • FP&A is dedicated to supporting data-driven decision making. To that end, one of our primary functions is developing and providing analytics to support our business partners.
  • Responsibilities include gathering data, developing and advancing financial models, facilitating collaboration with business partners and disseminating information.
  • This may include but not limited to ROI’s, sensitivity analyses, time studies and scenario testing.
  • Professional, departmental and organizational development.
  • FP&A values process improvement and advancing analytics to better serve our business partners.
  • Senior Financial Analyst will be empowered with project ownership, under the appropriate guidance of management, and asked to initiate innovation.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: BA in Finance, Business, Economics, Mathematics or related concentration required. MBA or CPA preferred.

Minimum Experience: Five to seven (5-7) years of relevant work experience required. Proficiency with MS Excel and PowerPoint required. Comfortability with database tools and manipulation of large datasets required. Some related experience with MS-SQL, Power BI or similar BI tools preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
