Assistant Manager Job Responsibilities

• Lead the store in day to day operations. Takes feedback from employees, guests, QA reporting, and ownership and ensures timely execution of resolutions which are in line with Just Poke best practices.
• Ensures Just Poke policies and procedures are followed and executed well.
• Participates in identifying hiring needs and works with the General Manager to ensure needs are met. Interviews, manages candidates through the hiring process, and assists with the training process as needed.
• Manages product ordering, submitting accurate and timely orders. Ensures orders meet business demand and tracks invoices. Works with the General Manager to resolve order issues, incorrect charges, and other inventory problems.
• Collaborates with the General Manager to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely and appropriate fashion.
• Collaborates with the General Manager to ensure team members provide: availability updates, food handlers cards, other information as required.
• Ensures team members follow guidelines regarding: checklists, portion tests, additional training or activities as required.
• Participates in disciplinary processes for the team. Coaches and supports team members.
• Makes recommendations to the General Manager for team building activities.
• Can operate any role within the restaurant. Can open and close the restaurant as the Manager on Duty.
