What is the Schedule?

The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse role has various openings on AM’s (6:00am - 2:15pm), PM’s (2:00pm - 10:15pm) and overnights (10:00pm - 6:00am), both full-time and part-time. The full benefit program is available for positions of 4-5 shifts/week; positions of 1-3 shifts/week are also available.

What are the Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse?

The Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for the following:

· Provide resident care according to established policies and State/Federal regulations.

· Administer medications and treatments according to physician’s orders.

· Supervise and evaluate the direct resident care given by Nurse Assistants. Assist in training, supervising, counseling and evaluating staff.

· Gather data using established quality indicators to assure quality care is being given to all assigned residents (Quality Assurance Performance improvement). Participate in household meetings, sharing this data and promoting improvement.

· Assist households in carrying out resident care as needed, performing actual complete direct resident care, household duties. Encourage teamwork within households

What You Will Need to be Successful:

· Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse currently licensed by the State of Wisconsin.

· Requires knowledge acquired in a two (2) year diploma program with clinical components.

· One to three months of related work experience.

· Evidence of basic leadership skills and supervision.

· Working knowledge of computers.
