Procurement Administrator Job at Akima, LLC Shared Services
The individual will be responsible for executing procurement activities as assigned, to include but not to be limited to: administrative support for the P-Card program, general clerical duties for the procurement team, research on supplier identification and solicitation, source selection, placement of purchase orders, and post award administrative actions as assigned. The applicant must develop an understanding of FAR/DFARS, and CPSR documentation requirements. analysis and methodologies. Must have intermediate knowledge of the MS Office Suite and MS SharePoint, have excellent communication, organizational and writing skills, be a self-starter, able to carry out responsibilities with minimum supervision. Candidate must always be customer service focused, presenting a polished, professional, responsive and respectful image to all coworkers and internal and external customers.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provides administrative, clerical and project support for the procurement team. These duties may vary based on the workload and departmental demands.
- With management guidance and training, develop negotiation strategy in concert with Program Managers.
- Responsible for auditing procurement files and P- Card packages, review P-Card receipts, and identify, research and track discrepancies.
- Develops award files to meet with company and Government policies and regulations
- With management guidance and training, future work assignments may include assessment of risk and initiation of action to mitigate risk at all phases of subcontract formation, performance and close-out
- Supports proposal efforts as assigned
- Works with management to identify additional work assignments and opportunities to work on subsequently more challenging tasks to engage in professional development and growth.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be a NANA Shareholder and own stock in “NANA Regional Corporation, Inc.”
- Must be detail oriented, with the ability to check work for accuracy, research and correct errors.
- Must maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Basic knowledge of personnel practices and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Outlook
- Excellent writing, editing, communication, organization and interpersonal skills required.
- Must be able and willing to maintain a consistent work fuocs, and be present and available at assigned work station at all times.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in a CPSR environment
- Solid knowledge of SharePoint
