Title: Rental Lead

Reports to: Senior Site Manager

Learning Period: 90-days

Essential Duties:

• Confirm that all repairs performed on Rental Equipment are done to GEN-TECH’s standards. Ensure that all documentation for repairs, start-ups, load banking, contracts, etc., is filled out according to GEN-TECH’s processes and procedures.
• Build and maintain rapport and positive working relations with all inter-company, intra-affiliate staff to resolve problems within reason, does what it takes to meet and exceed the expectations of the company
• Maintain technical information, repair manuals or other data, maintenance kits, and parts information for rental equipment.

Possess in depth knowledge of the rental department, through experience in the technician role; demonstrates proficiency at a wide variety of assignments and can direct Technicians s in operational procedures to complete jobs/projects

• Lead, mentor, and train Technicians
• This is a safety-sensitive position.

Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven experience/proficiency and extensive knowledge with Portable/Towable Generator maintenance- troubleshooting/repairs and rental software knowledge, controllers and Transfer Switches.

· Minimum of 3 years of experience in the power generation field specifically as a Technician or related General Foreman position

• Working knowledge of D/C and A/C electrical systems.
• Extensive knowledge of Diesel engine maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Fabrication experience: welding, pipe threading, etc
• Clean driving record.
• Provide/Maintain personal hand tools.
• Great customer service, communication, and leadership skills.
• Computer skills including excel, outlook, and operational software.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
