Conant High School is seeking a dynamic Math educator who believes in individualizing education in order to maximize student learning. This position would teach 2 blocks of career mathematics.This educator must consistently seek to build strong relationships with students, parents, staff and community. The ideal candidate will be able to: Create relevant and rigorous learner outcomes written in learning progressions. Align curriculum, instruction and assessment to clear learning targets.Offer opportunities for meaningful student voice and choice.Establish a strong, positive learning environment.Serve as a Teacher Advisor for a small group of students.Assess and monitor learning using a variety of methods and adjust instruction accordingly to individual student needs.Be a positive and active member of various learning communities within the school.
