General Responsibilities

As a Packer Associate your primary responsibility is to physically pack inventory by hand using the appropriate size shipping containers. The Packer must clearly label each shipping container and label using the provided marking tools provided.

Some of the things you’ll be doing

· The Packer is the last line of defense to ensure the items shipped are the correct items purchased by the customer, therefore it is imperative that the Packer pack at a steady pace

· You must be diligent in packing each order accurately and orderly

· Mark and label the appropriate size shipping cartons or bag

· Remove defective products and replace items

· Maintains a high level of health and safety standards

· Operates handling equipment and ensures safety regulations are followed

Some of the qualities you possess

· Positive attitude and strong work ethic

· Basic Mathematical skills

· The use of basic hand tools requiring physical dexterity and mobility

· Handle pallets truck for loads exceeding carrying weight

· Bending, squatting, sitting, climbing

· The ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs
