Primary Duty:
Under the direct supervision of a Warehouse Supervisor the Warehouse Auditor will perform a variety of functions including but not limited to auditing picked pallets for accuracy and completion.

Essential Job Functions:
The Warehouse Auditor will be assigned duties, based on organizational needs and priorities.

  • Audit the picked pallets for accuracy and completion
  • Use scanning equipment to ensure accurate tracking of inventory within the facility
  • Ensure accurate and proper counts of picked product, as well as verify all customer orders are loaded on truck and completed
  • Responsible for auditing both the selectors and loaders, improving accuracy and reducing case per thousand errors
  • Responsible for the sign off on completion of customer orders and loaded shipping routes

  • Assist colleagues as needed
  • Perform other tasks and special projects as needed

Physical Demands:
  • Frequently is required to stand; walk, stoop, kneel and crouch throughout shift.
  • Frequently lift, push or move product that weighs from 1 up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to perform job functions within varied temperatures within the warehouse and freezer.
  • Frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets and hand cart.
  • Ability to work from foot to standing and seated powered equipment for extended periods of time.
  • Frequently reach above shoulder: Occasionally grasp objects while manipulate objects with frequently twisting.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Prefer two or more years prior forklift experience with a solid safety record, ideally in a fast paced forklift environment
  • Must have previous experience with RF scanners
  • Prior exposure to manufacturing desired, preferably the food or beverage industry
  • Basic Math and English Reading Skills
  • Demonstrate sense of urgency and comfort working in a fast pace forklift environment
  • Ability to work independently or with a team with solid communication skills
  • Solid problem solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to move/lift 50 lbs
  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends as needed
  • Willingness and ability to work in a warehouse with minimal temperature control exposed to local temperature variations
