Location: This is remote but will require on-site work in the local Data Center. The resource needs to sit in the EST or CST time zone. Below are the open locations and the resource will need to be in a reasonable commuting distance from either location, as they will need to go on-site when issues arise.

The Systems Engineer role is to work on a team to administer and support core Microsoft products including Office 365, Exchange Online, Windows Server and Active Directory in a highly active environment supporting 6000+ users.

Essential Job Functions

• Support M365, including Exchange Online and Intune
• Troubleshooting Email delivery and client connectivity, message tracking, Security policy configuration in Defender ATP, email search and purge, etc.
• Support Sign On (SSO) configurations with Azure AD and Azure MFA
• Support Windows servers deployed On-Prem, in Azure, and in AWS
• Maintain Microsoft IIS Web Servers, Active Directory, Domain Name Services (DNS), Domain Controllers, and VMware
• Manage SSL certificates and work with numerous application support teams to renew certificates in a timely manner
• Perform daily system operations tasks to verify system integrity and availability
• Implement monitoring for applications and servers, and respond to alarms in a timely manner, preventing client impact and performance degradation
• Manage changes and project activities, and communicate with impacted stakeholders
• Develop and deploy automation tools to optimize daily activities
• Complete assigned incident management tasks
• Provide Tier III and other support per service requests

Education/Certifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in MIS, technical degree or equivalent experience

Experience/Minimum Requirements

• 3 to 5 years’ experience supporting Office 365, Exchange Online, Windows Server and Active Directory in a large corporate environment

Other Skills/Abilities

• Expertise in Office 365 Administration and Implementation
• Experience with the Defender security suite and Azure AD
• Experience with Cisco Duo and Azure MFA
• Ability to automate repeating tasks using scripting using PowerShell or tools
• Experience with A10 Load Balancers
• Experience with AWS EC2 deployments and management
• Experience with deploying Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

Working Conditions: works remotely, with occasional requirement to physically attend office location. Provide 24x7 on-call support in a predefined rotation.
