Medical Billing and Collections Specialist Job at Leeds Professional
My client, a very large company that specializes in "in home care" is looking for a billing and collections specialist. The position in and IN OFFICE position based in the Medley area. The position is an immediate need and offers excellent benefits.
- Handle inbound and outbound collections calls and correspondence
- Enter all updated data into the database
- Maintain quality customer service and a positive company image by resolving customer account inquiries
- Identify delinquent customer accounts
- Abide by all rules and regulations established by the Federal Fair Credit Reporting Act
- Ensure the processing of payments
- Foundational knowledge in Insurance Benefits
- CPT_ICD10 experience preferred
- Solid understanding of medical collections
- Medical Benefits experience
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Ability to analyze customer accounts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
