This is a full time 240 day per year position with full benefits.

This position will cover multiple districts in Umatilla county

SUMMARY:

Responsible for all daily operations of telecommunications systems associated with delivering voice services. Individual will support a complex multi-site telephone/PBX/VoIP and voice mail communications system and related software. Monitor local, long distance, cellular and telephone services user satisfaction.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Individual will have reliable, insured transportation for required travel throughout ESD Service area.

SKILLS· Advanced computer skills including word processing, database, spreadsheet and basic VoIP knowledge.

· Excellent organizational skills.

· Ability to work accurately with attention to detail.

· Willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and procedures.

· Ability to work cooperatively as a team member with strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.

· Ability to focus, organize and prioritize

· Ability to work independently, without detailed supervision

· Ability to troubleshoot, think out of the box

· Exhibit cultural competency and sensitivity with the ability to communicate effectively with all cultural groups

· Maintain accurate records for all telecommunications systems including call accounting, cabling, numbering plans and repair tickets.

· Review monthly telecom billing and annual department billing for accuracy; resolve errors.

· Follow established electrical safety procedures while performing required duties.

· Maintain confidentiality in reference to staff, students, and visitors.

· Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers, staff and vendors.

· Handle sensitive and privileged information with the highest degree of confidentiality and integrity.

· Perform other reasonable duties that from time to time may be assigned to meet the usual and unusual demands placed on the organization.

Pay: From $45,451.00 per year
