JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Housekeeping Supervisor will report directly to the Executive Housekeeper. The housekeeping supervisor will be responsible for (but not limited to):
- Assigning duties to room attendants, laundry, and commons area cleaner daily
- Cleaning public areas
- Inspecting of guestrooms
- Attending to guest requests
- Coordinating with the maintenance and front desk departments
- Inputting room statuses into the reservation system
- Assisting in keeping inventory of items
- Assisting in ordering of housekeeping items
- Clean guestrooms when needed
- Training of new employees
- Ensuring proper procedures and standards are being followed
- Maintain procedures for the security of lost and found items

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Drug free and clean background.
- Must have reliable transportation for work.
- Ability to work days, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work 35 - 40 hours per week.
- Ability to lift/push/pull 35 pounds or more.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience required.
- Previous supervising experience a plus
