Responsibilities:
Brosnan’s growing fleet requires continuous oversight and attention to ensure vehicles are in proper working and aesthetical conditioning. The Sr. Fleet Readiness Specialist will work closely with Fleet Management Partner (FMP) as well as field operations teams to ensure that all vehicles are being cared for per BRC Vehicle Terms and Conditions. This individual will manage the Fleet Readiness Specialist team and work closely with regional field teams to ensure proper care or vehicles and compliance to all BRC Fleet protocols. This individual will be responsible for identifying problematic areas, reporting on them, and developing both short- and long-term solutions for these issues.

  • Ownership of all processes and procedures relating to vehicle operational readiness.
  • Ensure internal compliance of all BRC protocols and procedures. Provide guidance and education to all field and internal teams when necessary.
  • Oversee, audit and track all invoices and financial information relating to active vehicles (maintenance, fuel usage, repairs, etc.
  • Responsible for delegation of tasks, project assignments and prioritization when necessary.
  • Oversee nationwide fleet of 500+ active vehicles.
  • Work closely with the FMP and claims department to minimize vehicle downtime and ensure all BRC vehicles are on-site patrolling.
  • Identify out of service vehicles and gain an in depth understanding as to the cause of the issue and create and communicate solutions to all parties involved (field teams, logistics team management, C Suite, etc.)
  • Provide reporting for all active vehicles along with respective status updates for all out of service vehicles including, cause of issue, diagnosis, solution and estimated timeline until vehicle (or replacement vehicle) is back on site.
  • Work with FMP to conduct quality control checks for all active vehicles prior to deployment to ensure vehicles meet all SmartTruck specifications and are in proper working.
  • Help coordinate delivery of inventoried vehicles to field ensuring appropriate specifications and proper functionality.
  • Hold FMP accountable for all SLAs and ensure BRC utilizes them to their fullest capacity and report and deficiencies to management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends that show correlation between potential issues (geography, weather, equipment failure, personnel, etc.) and vehicle downtime.
  • Communicate with body shops, FMP, BRC claims team and field teams to ensure timely processing of all vehicle issues and to ensure protocol is being followed.
Qualifications:
  • Experience managing team of two or more employees. Remote managerial experience preferred.
  • Fleet, mechanical or engineering background preferred.
  • Experience managing multiple vehicles over large geographical area with multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience working with a fleet management company.
  • Experience using Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Excellent organizational skills and reporting capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be resourceful and able to think on your feet in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the year.
