Safety Marking Inc. is New England s largest pavement marking company. Headquartered in Bridgeport, CT with additional locations in Rhode Island and Long Island. We have 46 years of experience in the line striping business. We are currently seeking hard working individuals to join our fleet maintenance team.
Your day will include working with shop administration in order to diagnose and repair any issues that may arise with our diverse fleet of equipment, ranging from hand equipment to pick up trucks to Class 8.
Salary Range: $55K - $79K (DOE)

- Knowledge of basic hand and power tools
- Knowledge of diesel engines
- Basic computer skills
- Experience with Isuzu, Peterbilt, Ford, International, Paccar and Cummins a plus
Our team must work in a safe manner, using protective equipment as needed and maintain a clean and safe work environment. This is a full time position consisting of 40+ hours per week. There will be times when overtime is required in order to meet scheduling needs along with some travel to other locations (in company vehicle).
Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- Current and valid driver s license/CDL preferred-tanker/hazmat certification a plus
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, follow direction and multitask
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift or move 50 pounds
- Knowledge of air brakes, hydraulic systems, DPF and DEF systems as well as AC
- Electrical and electronics
