Dispatcher

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Monitor the status of all planned flights and flights in progress from the point of origin to the final destination (flight following).

• Read and transcribe weather reports and NOTAMs
• Assigns crews following ATI Jet Policies & Procedures as well as understanding all applicable FAR restrictions
• Ensures all ground handling, deicing, fuel, landing/departure slots, and landing/overfly permits are in order before releasing a flight
• Advises appropriate personnel of potential/actual delays and conditions affecting safety of flight
• Must be able to handle multiple mission-critical projects concurrently and effectively
• Crew confirmations and duty day trip compliance
• Filing customs
• Releasing next day schedules to appropriate locations
• Assigning flight crew members to trips, arranging travel on/off rotation
• Schedules and reviews each crew assignment for legal flight and crew rest/duty
• Preparing crew trip sheets and passenger itinerary reports
• Assists pilots with flight planning and weather analysis
• Communicate daily with the Concierge Schedulers and Sales on trips
• All other duties required to ensure that flights are dispatched as per ATI Aviation policy, regulatory requirements and client requests.
• Approving flight logs and expenses
• Handle sensitive information confidentially
• Other duties and responsibilities as required

Job Qualifications:

• Must be extremely professional and well spoken
• Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both on the phone and via email
• Must be able to read, write fluently speak and understand the English language
• Must be detailed oriented with effective time management skills
• Ability to multi-task in stressful situations
• Must be able to handle multiple mission-critical projects concurrently and effectively
• Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office and an aptitude to learn flight scheduling software (Jet Insight)
• Previous experience as a dispatcher under 91,135 or 121 required
• FAA Dispatcher License required
• Must be able to pass background check and obtain DAL ramp access badge

Schedule:

• 10 hour shifts depending on coverage for trips
• Team shifts – on call pay
• Holidays – on call pay

Pay: $45,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year depending on experience
