POSITION SUMMARY: We are seeking a key contributor to join our team as a full time Field Service Manager in our San Diego market. The Field Service Manager (FSM) will assist the Regional Service Director (RSD), and is responsible for general customer management, installations, and the capability to provide assistance and guidance to Field Service Technicians (FST).

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and manage local inventory following Quench Inventory processes, including shipping/receiving, ordering, transfers, and cycle counts
  • Monitor and enforce scheduling policy to meet/ exceed customer requests, while optimizing tech utilization
  • Provide additional escalation support to ensure key account/customer issues are resolved expeditiously and effectively
  • Lead a team of Field Service Technicians and support them as needed (e.g., Payroll, Overtime and PTO approvals etc.)
  • Deliver at or above target performance on core field service-driven customer experience metrics specific to your assigned market(s).
  • Support corporate employee development initiatives as required
  • Serves as designated manager for all on-call responsibilities in the region
  • Depending on the territory, may be required to perform field service work

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Highschool diploma (required); Associate Degree (preferred)
  • 2-5 years people management experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: skill sharing and training, organization, conflict management, manage relationships.
  • Excellent organizational, and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, follow up and attention to details. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on commitments.
  • Able to communicate effectively with management, peers, and colleagues cross-functionally.
  • Required to stand, walk and sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects or controls; reach below and above your head with hands and arms. Regularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50+ pounds.
  • Experience with the field service work associated with troubleshooting, installing, and repairing customer equipment (preferred)
  • OSHA 10-hour certified or be OSHA trained within 3-months of employment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Proficient knowledge of smart devices (i.e. Smart phone, Tablet, laptop)
  • Knowledge of ServiceMax, Salesforce or other field service applications preferred.
  • A valid a current driver’s license in good standing
  • A clean work record and ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Travel requirement dependent on territory

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
