Posting Summary
The Grossman School of Business Program and Events Coordinator is responsible for the planning, design, and strategic development of the school’s event services. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional customer service and hospitality to all students, employees, and guests of the Grossman School of Business.

Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Bachelor’s degree in related field and two years’ hospitality or event planning experience required.

  • Exceptional attention to detail, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight timelines.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple competing demands and projects.
  • Effective interpersonal written and oral communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and analytical skills.

Desirable Qualifications
Graphic design experience and/or familiarity with design software.
Knowledge of UVM programs and systems including Event Management Software (EMS).

Special Conditions
Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Occasional overtime/weekend hours required, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees
