Entry level dental assistant Job at Lake Family Dentistry
We are looking for a new dental assistant to join our team. Experience is preferred, but we will train the right person. We are looking to hire based on your attitude. You need to show up and give 100% to the position when you are clocked in.
Responsibilities include:
- Sterilization of instruments
- Maintenance of equipment
- Assisting dental hygienists during periodontal probing.
- Restocking rooms and tubs.
- Turning over rooms.
- Answering phones and making appointments
As the new assistant gets additional experience, we will transition you into chairside dental assisting, and teach you how to assist during many different procedures including:
- Fillings, simple and complex
- Crowns and bridges
- Extractions, simple and complex including wisdom teeth.
- Root canals, initial treatment, retreatments (redoing root canals), and apical surgery (surgical root canals)
- Dentures, partial and complete.
- Cosmetic dental procedures including whitening, and veneers.
- Invisalign treatment
- Dental implants, surgery and reconstruction.
There is room for growth for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
