WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re looking for a Director, Procurement Transformation to partner with the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) to make Procurement’s Mission and Vision an everyday reality for Nike! In this chief-of-staff-like role, this person will act as a proxy for the CPO when needed to on various issues. The Director, Procurement Transformation will develop and socialize Procurement’s priorities and progress across the enterprise, and socialize comprehensive Procurement value with key collaborators across the globe. We are looking for someone who will define the priorities for the organization, resolve risks and harness opportunities. They will integrate Procurement into the multi-year strategic planning process, in collaboration with Nike Finance and Global Business Planning.



WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
If this is you, you will lead communications related to the Transformation of Procurement, including design, drafting and alignment of presentations to Nike, Global Operations & Technology (GOT) and corporate communications. We need you to lead strategic planning cycle for Procurement in partnership with GOT Strategy; pull insights from across the team and the Leadership Team to craft our 3-year story (CSR). We are looking for someone to partner with GOT Finance to convert strategy into annual operating plan (AOP) and manage reporting of financial results. We need you to also partner with the LT and the Program Management Office (PMO) to bring forward a clear picture of priorities, risks, and opportunities across Procurement initiatives. We need this person to be a Trusted Partner to the LT to help them think through their area’s opportunities and risks and assess how to resolve – and understand the nuances of when to engage what party.



WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
Business partner engagement will be critical to this role, and you will be responsible for both internal Procurement collaborators and the Leadership Team, as well as key Nike relationships with Finance, Business Planning across functions and geographies.


WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA or equivalent in Business-related field with emphasis in Finance, Procurement, Consulting and/or Strategic Planning preferred
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience in Finance, Procurement, business analytics, and/or consulting
  • Minimum 5 years experience leading cross-cultural and virtual teams (including functionally diverse work)
  • Must be able to manage sensitive and confidential information with the highest degree of integrity and discretion
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills (including ability to quickly tailor information to different audiences based on their needs)
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills and the ability to interact with senior management
  • Strong project management, including developing action plans, identifying deliverables, and communicating results
  • Experience with e-Sourcing Procurement tools such as Coupa, Ariba, or SAP is a plus
