We are currently seeking a Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Digital Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating the Digital Marketing and Marketing efforts for the company's portfolio of hotels. They will coordinate and publish blog posts, e-mails, and social media postings, as well as prepare reports as directed by management. These efforts will grow our followers engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company.

Specific Responsibilities:

Coordinate the catering details for events and provide a responsive and pleasant catering experience for clients.

  • May also undertake the general administrative task as required.
  • Establish and improve the reputation of the hotel by offering a very personalized style of service as per the hotel's standard operating procedures.
  • Scheduling of regular Social Media and Blog postings, and emails.
  • Maintaining the company's social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn.
  • Promoting shareable content appropriate for specific networks.
  • Interface with all contracted marketing firms and provide support to them.
  • Listening, monitoring, and engaging in relevant meetings with hotel sales departments, and management. To speak on our digital branding, analytics, and promotions, and provide analysis and recommendations based on those results.
  • Creating content and providing content strategy as needed (I.e. blog posts, emails).
    Work with each hotel to produce and provide needed printed materials including promotional pieces and property collateral.
  • Monitor the marketing budget and track expenditures to ensure they are within budgeted guidelines.
  • Monitor and respond to all reputation management sites (TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google) and respond to reviews and aggregate reports and share results with management.
  • Oversee the opportunity and requirements for each hotel brand and ensure that the hotel operations are following standards.
  • Liaison with each hotel brand's marketing division so that each hotel is taking full advantage of the services, promotions, and opportunities that the brands provide.
  • Assist the hotel sales departments or operations as needed or directed as well as execute any special projects assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Communication - Ability to read, write and speak English. Must be able to articulate ideas and plans and communicate these accurately and effectively to others. Must inspire confidence in staff.
  • Reliability - Must be able to stay on marketing schedules and effectively manage priorities.
  • Technical - Willingness to build a personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and its best practices. Strong proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, as well as Adobe creative cloud, and should be well-versed in e-mail marketing and lead generation through e-mail marketing.
  • Knowledge/Experience: A minimum of 2 years combined experience working directly with social media coordination or management.
  • Expertise with SEO/SEM campaigns
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management and content management system software.
  • Availability - must be able to work a varied schedule including, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong working knowledge of modern methods of designing advertising, digital design, web design, promotions, presentations, newsletters, direct mail, marketing collateral, video, website content, social media, and writing/editing for collateral material.
  • Portfolios of projects required. Must have knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud Suite.
