Eaton’s ESSG CPSD PRD Power Reliability Division division is currently seeking a Custom Assembler - 3rd shift (Dept 06) to join our team!

The hourly rate for this position is $19.76 per hour + $1.25/hr shift premium. The core hours are 10:30 pm - 6:30 am.

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000*, less applicable withholding.
- Bonus terms:
- Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 24th, 2023 to qualify.
- Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
- Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
- Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,500, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $1,500, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment
What you’ll do:
The Assembler is responsible for performing a variety of repetitive sub-operations on various standard product lines.
In this function, you will:
- Perform some complicated sub-assembly operations, usually limited to a specific standard procedure - on a repetitive basis.
- Set-up workstation to facilitate easier assembly and operate independently or on a group basis.
- Screen defective parts or make adjustments as necessary.
- Interact with other departments as needed for advice and decisions.
- Gather internal to assemble various padmount units.
Qualifications:
Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.- Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future
- No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Skills:
Must be able to walk/stand for 8 hours shift with or without reasonable accommodation.- Must be able to lift 44 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to read and use drawings, routings, specifications, part numbers, and other shop documents affecting this position.
