Who are we hiring?

The Coordinator, People Solutions is the key support for operations managers and People Practices partners regarding time & attendance, scheduling, application of CBA rules and employee support. The Coordinator, People Solutions performs duties integral to the day-to-day operation of a centralized staffing department including: labor planning & analysis, employee/manager customer service, creating/maintaining schedules, tracking and enforcement of policies & disciplinary action, and reporting & analytics for their assigned client groups

What will you do?

  • Is available and responsive to the needs of all managers and employees supported by the People Solutions department, in person or via phone/email. Ensures adherence to company policies and maintains high integrity standards. Escalates issues with the department or across business units as appropriate.
  • Understands the company’s business, with specialized expertise in the operational needs and contractual requirements of the business units supported by the coordinator.
  • Produces and maintain monthly, bi-weekly, and weekly full and part time employee schedules for multiple groups.
  • Ensures accuracy of employee worked time and tracks internal labor against labor codes, work orders, and budgets; resolves any errors or inconsistencies in a time sensitive environment.
  • Creates reports on an ad hoc or scheduled basis for use by various stakeholders.
  • Develops and uses collaborative relationships and critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for process improvements or system enhancements that support stakeholder needs and create efficiencies across the operation.
  • Develops, coordinates, and leads live & virtual group and one-on-one training for system end users at all levels, ranging from frontline employees to business leaders.
  • Maintain organized, concise, and up-to-date standard operating procedures related to their assigned groups.
  • Contributes to a collaborative, customer-focused, and improvement driven work environment.

What do you need to succeed?

  • Minimum 2 years in an administrative or customer service capacity with prior experience in scheduling, payroll, or employee services preferred.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including advanced Excel (lookups, pivot tables, formulas) and ability to quickly learn & use new systems.
  • Excellent verbal & written communication and proven interpersonal/customer service skills required.
  • Ability to handle situations in a highly sensitive, heightened and urgent environment while maintaining a high degree of confidentiality and business ethics.
  • Must be able to manage heavy volume of front-line employee and manager interactions, multi-task, and prioritize under pressure in a deadline-oriented environment.
  • Possesses exceptional attention to detail, organizational abilities, time management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
  • Demonstrates integrity, tact, diplomacy and a commitment to company values and principles while ensuring the upmost consistency.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
Will this role require travel? Does this role have specific physical demands? Will this job require operation of a vehicle?

  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of days, nights, weekends and holidays with split days off. This is a 7 day a week operation requiring early mornings or late evenings based upon operational needs. Must be willing to travel to other locations as needed.
  • Candidates who have completed a minimum of 60 credit hours of college-level coursework (representing 2 years), or have shown similar self-development through certifications, trade school coursework, etc. are preferred. Educational requirements may differ from job to job based on the role.
  • The hours requirement of this position will be 12PM-8PM EST
