Cook - Health Care Job at Mountain Vista Senior Living Community
Mountain Vista Senior Living, an American Baptist Homes of the Midwest community, is looking to hire a Cook to help our culinary team provide excellent service to our valued residents.
- Pay starts at $18.00 and up based on experience
- Sign-on Bonus up to $500 available
- Health Center: 10 AM to 6:30 PM
- Assisted Living Center: 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM , and Split shift 6 AM to 2:30 PM/ 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
As the Cook for our private fine dining restaurant, you lead a talented culinary team in preparing lunch and dinner for our residents and guests. You help create inspired menus, and prepare appetizing, delicious, and nutritious meals. As you prepare our community's daily meals, you take pride in how your food tastes, is plated and served (HOT!). You also assist in day to day kitchen operations, ingredient resourcing, and production scheduling/management.
What you will need:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Prior kitchen or line cook experience is helpful, but not required
- Covid-19 vaccination is required to work in a healthcare setting
