Atterdag Village of Solvang is a Continuing Care Retirement Community, offering our residents independent, assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing care. Our Caregivers are a team oriented group, working together to provide the highest quality of care to our residents, proving that we are People Who Care.

We currently have the following Full-Time and Part Time positions open on our team:

Job Duties include but not limited to:

• Provide professional, compassionate and quality care to all residents.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living (ADL’s).
• Promptly responds to all resident care needs and emergency situations.
• Provides for the resident’s physical care including bathing, performing hygiene tasks, toileting, assisting with meals, and other tasks.
• Transfers residents in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs and/or automobiles.
• Changes bed linens, picks up laundry and assists to maintain tidiness of resident bedrooms, closets and dresser drawers, as well as common areas and perform other housekeeping duties as needed.
• Transports residents to and from activity locations, which may include some driving of vehicles and golf carts.
• Supports resident care plan and notifies Director of changes that may need to be made to resident’s care plan.
• Facilitates and participates in residents group activities.
