We are looking for a skilled Automotive Mechanic with a passion for keeping cars running in optimal condition. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is interested in working on a variety of vehicles and enjoys problem solving. The ideal candidate will be successful at diagnosing mechanical issues, performing maintenance and repairs on an as-needed basis, and working independently.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose vehicles using automotive diagnostic systems.
• Perform minor maintenance on vehicles that do not require the use of specialized equipment.
• Perform basic repairs and diagnostics on vehicles that use anti-lock braking systems and airbags.
• Document maintenance performed and repairs done on vehicles.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automobiles.
• Extensive knowledge of automotive tools and vehicle diagnostics.
• Ability to diagnose and repair all types of vehicles from light to heavy-duty, from start to finish.
• The ability to work as a team to come up with efficient solutions to automotive problems.
• Have your own tools, we provide the rest.
• Carry out routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes, tire checks, battery installations, and air conditioning repairs.
• Run tests and diagnostic procedures to identify mechanical issues with vehicles that customers bring in.
• Repair any outstanding vehicle issues at the customer's request, and conduct inspections to ensure that all repairs were done safely and effectively.
• Keep accurate and up-to-date records of each repair job for both the customer's and the company's records.
• Maintain a clean work environment to facilitate safe and efficient service.
• Full time 40+ hours, Monday - Friday, Closed on weekends.
• Bonus if you have a NY state inspector's license, CDL, or tow endorsement license.
• Must have a clean driver's license.
