ADMISSIONS STAFF (Part-time)

Summer 2023 Staff (5-8 Positions Open)

JOB SUMMARY

• We are looking for friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic people to work our admissions desk at Splash Landings Indoor Pool and Roosevelt and Flick Outdoor Aquatic Centers.
• Primary responsibilities include selling daily admission and pool memberships, conducting cash and data transactions, communicating and enforcing pool rules and policies, and delivering outstanding customer service to our guests.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• A friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are essential to this position.

QUALIFICATIONS – The best applicants will have:

• Must be a minimum 18 years of age.
• Excellent customer service skills and highly enthusiastic.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Readiness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Possess a high level of leadership qualities.
• No prior experience necessary. Glenview Park District will train all hired admissions staff prior to their first day of work.

HOURS & PAY

• Hiring seasonal staff to work between mid-May through early September. This position will offer the chance to work at Splash Landings Indoor Pool when the Outdoor Pools close for the season.
• Schedule will include days, evening, and weekends. This position will expect at least 20 hours per week. Time off requests will be allowed at the beginning of summer for up to 10 days off.
• Target Pay Range is $15-$18.50/hour. Pay will be determined based on qualifications.
