Position Description:


Wasatch Crest is looking for an Admissions Coordinator to work in our residential adult substance abuse treatment center.


The Admissions Coordinator plays a vital role in representing Wasatch Crest as the initial point of contact for potential clients, families, and referents. This position is responsible for the entire admissions process including excellent customer service, building rapport with clients/families, collecting/documenting information, approving all client admissions with appropriate departments, and coordinating new client intakes.

Job Duties:


  • Phones and Incoming Inquiries:
    • Answer all incoming calls and contact forms in a timely/professional manner. Return any missed calls/messages promptly.
    • Maintain working knowledge of program/philosophy and communicate effectively.
  • Establish rapport with clients/families/referents/staff.
    • Provide excellent customer service. Maintain professional, positive attitude when working with callers/clients/referents/staff. Represent Wasatch Crest professionally and ensure admissions process is “easy” for clients/families.
  • Documentation/Systems/Coordination:
    • Collect all relevant admission information and document accurately/timely.
    • Communicate and coordinate with all internal and external stakeholders regarding new admissions/intakes.
  • Intakes/Marketing/Other:
    • Complete all client intakes with attention to detail, customer service and professionalism. Complete all intake paperwork in a timely/accurate manner.
    • Assist with intake transportation, marketing support, relationships, tours, and events as needed.
    • Update resource directory to ensure accurate referral partner information. Coordinate outbound referrals with referral partners where appropriate.


Qualifications:


Education/Experience:

  • Minimum high school diploma, GED, or college degree preferred.
  • Valid Utah driver’s license and access to a reliable personal vehicle.
  • Must pass random drug screening tests, and TB Test.
  • Minimum one year experience in admissions or business development preferred.
  • Experience in the addiction or mental health field preferred.
  • Excellent customer service, written, and verbal communication skills including use of tools and technology Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds.
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently. Self-motivated.
  • Proficient computer, small office management, and organization skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evening and weekends as needed.

Starting Pay: $40,000 - $50,000, depending on experience
