Schedule: Monday/Tuesday/Thursday 9am-6pm; and Wednesday/Friday 8am-5pm

JOB SUMMARY

The Administrative Assistant provides administrative and technical support for clinic staff. Manages schedules/calendars, manages patient experience including scheduling & follow-up appointments, invoices, and handles inquiries as appropriate. Manages work with guidance and direction. Addresses administrative and technical issues when they arise.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Schedules all appointments for the Health Center.
  • Greets patients and visitors in a warm, friendly manner and directs them as appropriate.
  • Answers all incoming calls for the Health Center.
  • Handles all billing and payment for the Health Center.
  • Communicates via phone, email, Electronic Medical Record software, and other systems regarding patient inquiries, concerns, or escalations.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Requires 0-3+ years relevant experience; previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Requires proficiency in MS office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
