The Position

Serves as the primary accounts receivable support to the Louisville KY, Indianapolis IN, & Columbus OH markets.

Manage Accounts Receivable/Billing process:

• Prepare customer invoices.
• Post customer payments and prepare bank deposits.
• Monitor customer accounts and follow up on past due balances.
• Prepare AR Aging summaries and other reports as requested.
• Deadline driven reconciliation of Credit Card Statements.
• Must be responsible and adhere to strict deadlines and accuracy regarding the following: bank deposits, checks, transactions, balancing at month end, and reconciling what is due to the company for Credit Card Charges.

Other duties as assigned:

• Assist in Accounts Payable and Billing.
• Perform GL account reconciliations.

The Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED required with Associate degree in Accounting/Finance preferred.
• 1-3 years of Accounting experience required. Billing and collection experience preferred.
• Experience with QuickBooks preferred. Position will work within QuickBooks and industry specific software.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel required.
• Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.
• Experience with multiple company posting accounting preferred.
• Candidate should be self motivated, and eager to learn.
• Candidate must be able to meet deadlines and ensure timeliness and accuracy of own work, with the ability to double check things for accuracy before submitting them.
• Experience in high volume deadline driven AR position strongly preferred.
