PERI is currently looking for a Yard Associate to join our PERI Family! PERI Yard Associate perform various manual tasks to support the operations within the PERI stockyard. While working in a variety of different departments within the stockyard, the Yard Associate completes assigned job tasks for assigned role. As a team and individually, the Yard Associate works towards maintaining a Safety-First Culture.

What you'll do on a typical day:

• Repair and clean returned stock from jobsite using small power tools
• Assist in conducting inventory counting
• Operate forklifts
• Uphold housekeeping practices in order to promote and observe a safe and clean working environment
• Maintain adherence to PERI processes & procedures; select correct processes from prescribed rules and practices

What you'll need to be successful:

• HS Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to work in physically demanding, fast pace environment
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 50 Ib
• Forklift operating experience preferred
• Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication)
• Knowledge of metric system preferred
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Team orientated and able to interact well with others
• Previous work experience in equipment operations, warehouse, or as a laborer preferred
• Exhibit a positive attitude and a professional demeanor
• Flexible to work overtime, if required
