Medical Assistant (MA)/ X-Ray Technician (NCT)

Clay Consulting, a VA subcontractor, is looking for a Medical Assistant/ X-Ray Technician to assist in the performance of Veteran Medical Examinations.

What you will be doing as a Medical Assistant/X-Ray Technician:

• Organizes the clinical environment and provides support on patient examination situations.
• Ensures policy and procedures are followed, including infection control, privacy, and confidentiality.
• Analyzing and researching medical claims and reviewing medical records/history.
• Ability to perform both front desk and back-office duties while maintaining the organization's standards.
• Work in partnership with a team of complementing individuals dedicated to living CCLLC's core values.
• Selects imaging protocols and required accessories and adjusts based on the specific examination requirements
• Reviews images to ensure quality standards are met
• Performs equipment quality control checks
• Prepares and processes examination requests, related records and files images and reports
• Work in partnership with a team of complementing individuals dedicated to living CCLLC’s core values

What you will bring:

• BLS Certification (Required)
• Registered NCT (Non-Certified Technician)
• Completed Accreditation (Radiologic Technologist Course)
• High School Diploma or GED
• Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)

Experience:

• EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
• X-Ray Technician: 2 years (Required)
• Medical Assistant: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• BLS Certification (Preferred)
• Certified Medical Assistant (Preferred)
