Job Overview


Start Time: 1:00 PM; Monday - Friday


The Warehouse Supervisor will oversee all areas of warehouse operations, including direction of work to the assigned team consisting of pallet builders, checkers, loaders, forklift operators, etc.; act as a subject matter expert and provide hands-on assistance in any area of Warehouse Operations, when required; support any specific area of responsibility and, or team as designated by the Warehouse Manager. Additionally, this role will provide leadership to the team through training; performance management; evaluation of Warehouse Personnel and Processes, and lead the interviewing of potential candidates. The Supervisor reports to the Warehouse Manager and handles issues occurring within the warehouse regarding processes or personnel while promoting all policies, safety procedures, goals, expectations, and CCCI’s Purpose and Values.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise and direct the daily activities of warehouse teammates to ensure the safe and successful completion of all related daily warehouse activities and operations
  • Verify and ensure compliance to all applicable warehouse processes, including, handling damaged product check-in, etc.
  • Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff and personnel processes striving for continuous improvements
  • Communicate with other departments, internal, and external stakeholders as it relates to identified process improvements, quality, Out-of-Stocks (OOS ), etc.
  • Manage and model the safety culture and strive for 100% compliance concerning safety policies and procedures
  • Supervise, lead, and motivate a team to deliver results by communicating company goals, safety practices, and deadlines; engage and develop teammates through effective performance management, coaching, and training; implement continuous improvement methods while maintaining customer focus, and embody company purpose and values to inspire servant leadership

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • Ability to lead, coach, teach, and train in a manner that aligns with Company Purpose
  • Extensive knowledge of all Warehouse Processes and Warehouse Systems
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and think proactively
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting 30-75 lbs.
  • Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
  • Ability to coordinate and organize efficient and dependable warehouse processes
  • Easily transition between different work areas as needed throughout the workday, meeting minimum expectations within those areas
  • Ability to read and interpret instructions from a computer screen
  • Attention to detail and ability to differentiate our packages
  • Ability to work in a noisy and non-climate controlled including high and low-temperature environment
  • Intentional self-starter takes initiative and proactively seeks out value-add opportunities
  • Flexibility in Scheduling is required as work hours are subject to change based on business demands

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Knowledge acquired through 1 - 3 years of work experience
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience supervising or leading people in a warehouse environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) Certification
  • Certification to be secured after 90-day probationary period

Work Environment

Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment including high and low-temperature environments
