Reporting directly to the Co-President of ICS, the VP of Operations plays a critical role in the execution on our Mutual Funds, Retirement and Issuer strategy and achieving its desired effectiveness, with focus on the service profit chain. The role will serve as a central liaison across the division globally, providing leadership and management support for critical initiatives.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Orchestrate and define operating model transformations to support the enterprise, with focus on strategic reporting, sales reporting, hiring, and technology investment prioritization
  • Foster organization-wide stakeholder engagement and alignment across MFRS-Issuer business units and functional support teams (e.g. finance, sales & account mgmt, and technology)
  • Track high-level progress of strategic initiatives, flag risks to major milestones, escalate as needed
  • Assist in management and planning of periodic strategic reporting and board materials, primarily working with Senior Director of Strategic Initiatives and Institutional Governance and CEO
  • Influence organizational governance, policies, and staff development
  • Acts as a representative for the Co-President on a variety of committees and initiatives. Coordinates and supports commitments to industry organizations, speaking engagements and client interactions
  • In collaboration with Head of Product & Strategy and Marketing team, sets overall communications objectives and develop a comprehensive plan along with the messaging and preparation of content and materials for all internal communications (e.g. townhalls) and external speaking engagements and Board interactions
  • Partner with CDO and senior leadership to ensure a diverse, equitable and inclusive workplace. Lead initiatives for attracting, retaining, developing and recognizing the best talent in collaboration with people leaders and HRBP’s
  • Help to foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, and suggest recommendations for creative change and/or new initiatives
Requirements:
  • Ability to prioritize among competing objectives and provide leadership with a focus on achieving results
  • Demonstrated track record of motivating employees and managing relationships.
  • Ability to synthesize issues, propose solutions and articulate them in a way that will be respected and valued by senior leaders across the business
  • Ability to create clear executive and board level material, synthesize and summarize complicated content and convey a compelling narrative
  • Demonstrated record of engaging and partnering with individuals at all levels of seniority
