Job Title: Registered Nurse - Telemetry (Night Shift)
Location: Stuart, FL 34994
Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00)
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: 13-week contract
Job Summary: The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide specialized care to patients in the telemetry unit, monitoring vital signs and cardiac rhythms. The nurse will assess patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Must have FL/compact licensure as a registered nurse
- Minimum of 18 months of Tele/Acute Care experience required; 2 years preferred
- ACLS and BLS certifications are mandatory (must have by the time of submittal)
- NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to the start date
- Willingness to float to all three hospitals within a 20-mile radius (Martin North, South, Tradition)
- Proficiency in charting systems, particularly Epic, is preferred
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
- Flu vaccine is required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
Additional Information:
- This is a 13-week contract position
- The nurse will work in the telemetry unit
- The facility follows the charting system Epic
