Provide remote technical installation, troubleshooting, and support services. Configure and troubleshoot computers and networking equipment including cameras, PCs, switches, wireless access points, etc. Configure and troubleshoot customer’s systems. Provide excellent customer service.

This is a front line position and success is dependent on the ability and desire to learn and deliver high-quality technical support. A professional attitude and providing outstanding customer service are critical.

Hours, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, scheduled 24x7 on-call shifts, occasional after-hours assignments.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Answer technical support phone calls, open support tickets, and address client requests

Maintain positive client communications

Troubleshoot hardware and peripheral components such as cameras, trailers, GPS systems, monitors, keyboards, printers, network servers, routers, and firewalls.

Diagnose basic IT and computer systems issues; hardware, software, networking, server, VPN, and operator problems

Work with Vendors to RMA inoperative equipment

Provide detailed status updates, and completion information to clients using Jira

Troubleshoot PC, server, and network hardware errors

Provide technical support in house and over the phone

Install, remove, test, and configure components, software, and hardware

Provide customer assistance as needed on operating systems, software, and hardware usage and procedures

Occasionally provide on-call emergency services after business hours, holiday and weekends as during on-call shifts

Compile and maintain detailed documentation

Basic IP network troubleshooting skills

Windows networking skills

Familiarity with Microsoft 365

VPN remote access configuration & troubleshooting

Network printer troubleshooting

Ability to work in a disciplined, focused manner when working outside of an office environment

Exceptional customer service skills

High self-organization skills

Ability to research and recommend new products

Excellent documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
